Inspired by the section of the petals of Dionaea, the Levante lamp hides a luminous heart within petals that taper on the edges, giving it an extreme lightness.
To optimize production, the architecture of the object is based on the central connection of 3 perfectly identical interpolating elements. The same petals are obtained from the union of two identical parts.
After a long search the thermoformed material used to make the diffuser petals has been found in applications in the food sector, where it is used purely for filtering operations.
